Hi I'm Heather

I'm a baker. I come from a family of thirteen children. I love singing, rollerblading, and playing the guitar. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the eleventh child of thirteen children. As I've matured I have come to realize how proud I am to be a part of such a big, strong family. It's so important to me and has definitely made me who I am today. Growing up, my best friends were always my sisters; it was great because life felt like a big slumber party that never ended! I consider myself very fortunate now to live with my older sister, where I can walk to work before the sun every morning and start baking bread. God has blessed me so much to have the opportunity to live in a beautiful place, surrounded with people I love, doing what makes me happy!

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the church is everything to me. From experience, I can say that the times in my life I felt the most peace and joy were the times that my life was directed closer to the Savior. You truly are blessed when you do the things you know are right.

How I live my faith

I don't have a specific assignment in our congregation of young single adults, but that doesn't mean there isn't work to be done! For many people, including myself, the time between living at home with your family and having a family of your own can be a very lonely and trying part of life. I always strive to stay close to the Savior by praying daily and reading from the Bible and Book of Mormon, which helps to give me the strength I need. Even something as small and easy as a smile, compliment, or offered seat can really make the difference in someone's day.
