Hi I'm Megan

I am from Maine. I love ice cream and dancing. I have been called to serve a mission in Peru. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love pretty much all things dancing. I especially love country swing dancing. I love to sing, to date, watching chick flicks, watching the sun set in the summer time, eating ice cream and playing group games with friends. I am attending college in Utah and love it here.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church but I choose to stay a member because I believe in Jesus Christ and His church. I love my Heavenly Father and He answers my prayers. I believe that Joseph Smith restored the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to the earth. I love the temple and believe that families can be together forever. I have been truly blessed in my life by my Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I just received a responsibility in my ward (church) to be over other women in asking them if they visited the women they were asked to visit with. I also attend a temple here every week and attend church.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Everything done in the church is voluntary. We all have agency. However, missionary service is a wonderful blessing. Most young men serve around age 19 though some go older or younger than that (the minimum is 18). Many girls go as well. In fact, I leave in 94 days for my mission to Peru. Senior couples also serve missions. Show more Show less
