Hi I'm Hannah

I'm from Ogden, Utah. I am currently serving a mission in the Colorado Colorado Springs Mission! And I love it!

About Me

I am a missionary for the church and will be serving in Colorado Springs. I love being with all my family and love seeing my friends. I went to the LDS Business College for a year before receiving my mission call, where I studied Photography. I love all the arts. I love drawing, painting, and all music. I play the piano and a little bit of the violin. All through school I studied Ballet and pointe. In High School I participated in theatre and also choir, which also became a huge part of my life. I love the outdoors and hope to travel all around the world and to take pictures everywhere I go.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and grew up as a member! My grandparents, parents and siblings are all Mormon. Some of my family were pioneers who came across the plains to SLC to find religious freedom and to heed the prophets council to come to ZIon. The gospel has always been something I have had in my life and I have been so privileged to grow up in it. I know it is true for me because I have felt the spirit in my life and have felt how happy I have been in the gospel and the love I have received from our Heavenly Father. I did find out that this church is true, by lots of studying of the scriptures and through prayer, and when I do read the scriptures and draw closer to God I do feel how peaceful and happy I am when I am doing what is right. I have also many great friends that have helped me along the way, as well as my family and background. I know that this is the true church on the Earth and that we can find much happiness and fulfillment when we know of the truth that this gospel brings. I can't wait to share this truth to the world and help others come to find of the happiness and path it brings.

How I live my faith

Ever since I was little the church has always had a big influence on me. I was always involved at young women's and have met some of my best friends through the young women's program. In school, my favorite classes were always seminary and I loved being able to go there everyday for an hour and to feel the spirit that was present there. I also received my Young Women's Medallion or achievement from the program right before I turned 18. This was always super important for me to achieve and I always worked my very best to get in by reading the scriptures and keeping a journal and doing all the projects involved to achieving the Medallion. I have always loved going to all the church meetings every sunday and learning more about the gospel. Recently too, many friends of mine have gone on LDS missions so I have attended many farewell meetings and Homecomings. It has also been a good example for me as I have prepared to go on my own mission. This summer I have also been able to go to a Young Womens camp to help with the youth and be a leader there. I was able to share some of my experiences with the church and what I have done to prepare for a mission when now many of them also are planning to go on one.
