Hi I'm Beth

I grew up in a Pentecostal church it never felt right. When the missionaries found me I found myself I'm a Mormon

About Me

Nearly twenty four years old. Being married at my ward June 1st to the man I will spend eternity with. I have a foster son who is almost eight years old. I was baptized on May 18th and confirmed May 19th. It's not been long, but it feels amazing. I was on a dark path for many years with self harm, tattoos, and piercings along with drug and alcohol abuse now I am blessed and saved and filled with Christs love I no longer worry about my past. My mother passed away August 7th. 2011 to brain cancer which was extremely hard yet it made me stronger and I still have hard days but usually a lot more better days. I have two lovely little dogs named Samuel (miniature pinscher) and FiFi (Chihuahua) they are my little babies. I am so blessed to have everything God has given me. A caring father who adopted me when I was born along with my adopted mom (the one that passed) I have a fourteen year old brother who really needs prayer he's resisting all types of religious conversations and very verbally abusive all I can do is pray and love him. I love my ward and I am so grateful for the missionaries God brought to me in April on a very rainy Friday night who knows where I would be without them right now. I love everyone in my church family. I also love my soon to be husband he is extremely supportive and I know God sent him my way. Well that's basically all about me.

Why I am a Mormon

I never felt right in all the churches I have been to. Pentecostal, Baptist, Church Of Christ, Catholic. None of it suited me then when the missionaries started teaching me everything made sense I just knew this was what was meant for me. So I prayed to know Joseph Smith was really a prophet and if the Book of Mormon was true immediately I felt a feeling I hadn't felt before and I knew it was all true I then opened my heart and agreed to be baptized and moved forward with the words of wisdom, chastity and all the things ive been asked of the Lord to do. Life has been great

How I live my faith

Since I am a newer member I still participate in a lot of Bible studies which I greatly enjoy. I spend a lot of my time in prayer and reading the Book of Mormon and studying and learning everything I can get my hands on.
