Hi I'm Rob

I grew up in a small town in Idaho called Grand View, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play baseball, I love watching movies and hanging out with friends. I am serving in the St. George Utah Mission and loving sharing what I belive.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it to be the true church on this earth. I know that the book of Mormon is the word of God and that it goes hand in hand with the Bible. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that through him the book of Mormon was translated from ancient record written by ancient prophets. I know that the book of Mormon was written for our time to help us in these last days. I know that through the prophet Joseph Smith the church was restored. I know that all can know that the truth too! All you need to do is pray to the Father and to ask him if these things are true, and you will know that it is true by the power of the Holy Ghost! In James 1:5 it says something very similar to what I just said. I know this church is the only true church upon the earth today and you can know it too!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to all my church meetings and engaging in lessons in my classes. I try to help anyone I can find that is in need of help. I also try to be a good example to those who are younger than myself. I also live my faith by sharing what I believe with everyone that will listen, I live it by doing the things I believe and by following the Prophet because I know that he is truly a Prophet of God!

How can I know Mormonism is true?

All you need to do is read the Book of Mormon and to pray to Heavenly Father if the book is true, if the book is true the church is true! The Prophet Joseph Smith identified the Book of Mormon as the “keystone of our religion”(History of the Church, 4:461; Book of Mormon introduction). “A keystone is the central stone in an arch. It holds all the other stones in place, and if removed, the arch crumbles. There are three ways in which the Book of Mormon is the keystone of our religion. It is the keystone in our witness of Christ. It is the keystone of our doctrine. It is the keystone of testimony”(in Conference Report, Oct. 1986, 4; or Ensign, Nov. 1986, 5). Show more Show less
