Hi I'm Catelyn Johnson

I am a convert. I have such a strong testimony of this church and it has truly blessed my life!

About Me

I am a full time college student at the College of Central Florida, and I have 2 jobs. I love to ride hoses (Clydesdales to be specific). I love playing airsoft, ice skating, rock climbing, and riding dirtbikes:)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Before I was a member of the church I went to a nondenominational christian church called Meadowbrook. When I first found out about LDS I was very skeptical and uninterested, however; over the years my heart has softened and my eyes have opened to the true gospel of Jesus Christ. I was an investigator for 3 years and when the time came that I received my answer regarding the truthfulness of the church, I was baptized on November 18th, 2012. It was the best day of my life! It was like the missing piece of my heart had been found. Although I have only been a member of the church for a short time, I can truly testify that God lives!! and he loves all of us. This church is so true and it brings such great feelings into my heart that I haven't felt with any other church that I have been to:) I am a Mormon because this church is true and God has testified that into my heart:) I see such a difference in my life now and I am so much more at peace with myself now that I joined the church!!

How I live my faith

I enjoy doing what I call "pre-missionary work". Nothing makes me happier than to share the gospel with others. I go around and talk about God and Jesus Christ with my friends and family, and even non- members of the church. I have recently been a family history consultant in my ward in which I found names of my family members who have not received the gospel for themselves, and do their work for them (go to the temple and get baptized in their name so they can decide whether or not they want to accept it).I do this out of love for my family because I want them to experience the same joy that I have experienced in this church. I read my Book of Mormon every night and I have found that it brings me peace and the ability to make righteous choices.

How can I know Mormonism is true?
