Hi I'm Danny Balser

I have been born and raised in Utah. I grew up in a family of 8. I love Football. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born to Tod and Shanon Balser on April 2, 1995. I have 3 brothers and two sisters, and also a brother and sister in-law, a niece, and expecting another one in June, 2014. All growing up I've loved sports. The love, was instilled in me when I was a small child. My dad and older brothers played all growing up and I followed in their footsteps. I have played competitively in sports in everything from soccer, baseball, and football. I especially love football. I played 4 years of football at Orem High School. I was a captain and was glad to be a part of, and serve such a great group of kids. Im just a normal teenage kid, had hair down past my shoulders, blasted music from my truck, and rocked my dads 70's clothes all during high school. And one day.....one day I am going to live by the beach. One thing a lot of people don't really know about me is my love for writing. I enjoy writing essays and poems. I really don't know where the interest came from but putting words on paper is always something I have enjoyed. One day I want to get published. Right now I am serving In the Mexico, Mexico City South, Mission and love it! Nothing brings me more joy than seeing people come closer to The Savior.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love this gospel. I was born into the church and have had nothing but love toward it. This is a gospel of happiness. From a young age I was taught simple truths, Jesus is my Savior, and through him I can return to live with Heavenly Father, I know Joseph Smith restored the fullness of the gospel to this earth in these latter days, and I know that through this church and sacred ordinances I have the opportunity to spend eternity with my family. There is nothing more important to me than my family and this góspel, This gospel is my life, and I love it.

How I live my faith

I was born into this gospel and am grateful for the blessing. I chose to be baptized at the age of 8 by my father. Growing up I always knew I was going to serve a mission, so I prepared myself. Once I turned 12, I received the Aaronic Priesthood and served in different capacities within Deacon, Teachers, and Priest Quorums. I have been called to serve in Mexico City on my mission and couldn't be more excited. I am humbled by the opportunity to serve my Savior.
