Hi I'm Evan

I grew up in West Jordan, Utah. I am preparing to serve a mission in Berlin Germany. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am very involved in swimming. I swam on the high school swim team. I continue to swim for fun and for exercise. I am planning on attending college after serving my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the church because I have a testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through exercising faith and following the commandments of the Lord, I have seen blessings in my life that come directly from living my life in alignment with the gospel. I know that God is the father of our spirits and that he sent his son, Jesus Christ to atone for the sins of the world. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet called by God to restore the Gospel to the Earth. I know that God communicates today with his prophet President Thomas S. Monson and continues to be involved in governing the Earth and working towards the salvation of his children. If you have a desire to know the truthfulness of the Gospel, I invite you to make changes to bring your life in greater harmony with the teachings of the Church. As you exercise faith, you will receive a knowledge as I have of the truthfulness of the Gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending Church every Sunday. I follow the commandments and live my life in alignment with the doctrines of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I currently serve in my local church working with the youth my age, planning and inviting them to activities designed to help them grow in character and spirituality. I am also responsible for visiting families in the ward to make sure that everything is going well for them and to share a message about the gospel. I also participate frequently in other service available in helping members of our community.
