Hi I'm Limhi Mata

I am a Hispanic LDS member who grew up in Arizona and I'm a mormon

About Me

I have grown up in a very large and loving Hispanic family. My brothers are my closest friends and they have always been there for me. I love the arts and I have been told that I have great talent in it. I don't really believe it but its what people tell me. I love studying the history of the world and just love learning in general. The only reason why I struggle at school is because I tend to be a very social person. I love meeting new people and talking about anything. I'm also very proud of my heritage I love my identity as a Hispanic LDS member. I attended AMES academy in slat lake city and graduated.

Why I am a Mormon

At first it was for only because I was my parents wanted me to be. But as I grew older I did want to understand why. I listened to what others said about their religion and about mine. I just prayed about the simple truths of the gospel and then the harder truths later . I received my answers that this is the true church of Jesus Christ. I pray about the Book of Mormon and how the all of it can be applied to my life and how great and powerful the truths are in them. That many have devoted their entire life to keep the message of Christ alive and that's what makes my testimony of the church stronger

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always trying to see the greater picture of this life. Being kind without being asked and to forgive that which you may think be the unforgivable. Always be humble and take criticism well. Know that there is always a way through the savior and remember that there is a loving forgiving and great creator in this world. To know that he loves you unconditionally and that he knows by name.
