Hi I'm Zyon J. Smiley

I'm from Savannah, GA. I've completed my first semester at BYU. I will serve in the Baton Rouge, LA Mission.

About Me

I was born in Provo, Utah while my parents were completing their graduate/undergraduate degrees at BYU. We moved to Savannah, Georgia in 1997. I have one sibling who is currently a high school freshman. I enjoy learning things, and meeting new people. My first year of college at BYU was great, and I look forward to going back after my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I cherish the values and standards of living in the LDS faith. I believe in the eternal nature of family, and the positive effects it on communities. I testify that Jesus is the Christ, and through him we can gain salvation, and eternal life with those we love.

How I live my faith

I was apart of the Boy Scout program, giving service to others in the community. I earned the rank of an Eagle Scout, which is an accomplishment that I treasure. I have coordinated activities within the church family to strengthening our faith and foster friendship.
