Hi I'm Earl R. Gubler

Born in Utah's Dixie; raised in Santa Clara eighth child of Emil & Nellie McArthur; married Judi Dingess. I am a Mormon

About Me

I was born the eighth child of Emil and Nellie McArthur Gubler in Utah's Dixie. I was raised in Santa Clara, Utah ; along with three sisters and eight brothers. I graduated from Dixie High School, attended Dixie College, fulfilled a mission to the Northeast British Mission and graduated from Brigham Young University in 1969 with an accounting degree. I was a Certified Public Accountant in California, Nevada and Utah. I worked as an Industrial Accountant for fourteen years as manager and treasurer/controller for construction and information technology companies. I worked in Public Accounting for twenty seven years. The last twenty four years were working with my brother Marv Gubler, also, a Certified Public Accountant in a small accounting practice located in Midvale and South Jordan, Utah. We did consulting with small businesses, related to accounting, auditing and income tax work. I have been married to Judi Dingess from Newell, West Virginia for forty six years. We are the parents of six wonderful children; Todd, James, Jennifer, Randy, Angelee and Tyler. We are pleased to be the grandparents of seventeen grandchildren. Our family brings us great joy and we love being with them. It pleases me to be able to serve in the Ohio Cleveland Mission. We look forward to serving with President and Sister Michael Vellinga. The gospel of Jesus Christ and my family have brought me the greatest joy and happiness in this life. I would like to share this happiness, I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for many reasons, but I guess the best reason is that it brings me joy, happiness and satisfaction with life.

How I live my faith

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is for our learning, growth and happiness. My life's experiences have taught me the gospel is offered to us for our benefit as it brings us closer to our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. As we learn and practice with real intent, our lives change for our betterment. Over a life time, we become more than we could be on our own. I love what the gospel can do for us, if we will do our best to live a Christ like life.
