Hi I'm Gabriel Wright

Grew up in Hawaii, love Singing, Dancing, Weight Lifting and Paintball. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was adopted into an LDS family at 3 months of age and brought up by the most amazing and christlike parents I could have ever asked for. I have been singing and performing for over 8 years and have done over 40 shows worldwide. I love making people smile and Im always in a positive mood because I've learned to take every single challenge life and the world throw at me and to make it my own so it works for me."When life gives you lemons, make grape juice, and sit back and watch the world wonder how you did it."Currently Serving a Misson in Long Beach, California and planning to move to San Diego after my 24 months of service. Oh and Im single!

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon simply because the fact that this is who the Lord planned for me to be. The Lord blessed me with the opportunity to be raised in an LDS(Mormon) family and environment and i will share the happiness, joy, and spirit I feel with the people I come in contact with. Spread Aloha and the spirit.

How I live my faith

Currently serving my mission in Long Beach, California

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Gabriel Wright
The understanding about all members of the LDS(Mormon) church being required to serve a mission is a total misunderstanding. We, as members if this church, exercise our agency by choosing if we want to serve a mission or not. One of the reason why I have decided to serve my mission is simply the principle of Tithe. Tithe is when we give 10% of our earnings or incomes to the lord not for the benefit of the church, but for those who are in need of it, members or not. Serving my mission os giving up 2 years for the 20 years of life the lord has blessed me with and will continue to bless me withas i serve him. No one forced me, I made the choice on my own after praying and searching for the answers of my heart and being prompted by the spirit of the lord. Show more Show less

What is faith?

Gabriel Wright
When you are about to walk into a room do you question if there will be air in that room? Or at night, after the sun sets, do you question if the sun will rise the next day? At least we hope that the sun will shine or the room we walk into has air. That feeling of hope, or that confidence we have dealing with air and the sun is faith. Hoping for something that we cannot see. At nights when its cold, dark, and sometimes lonely, we have faith that the sun will rise and it will light up our paths and keep us warm. The same should be for our lives. That when in life it feels cold, dark, and lonely, the Lord and Savior will be there to lighten our paths and warm us, we need only ask. Show more Show less
