Hi I'm Sarah Johnson

I'm a Texan. I go to BYU. I have been called to serve in the Korea Busan mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a big family with my mom and dad and four older brothers. I also have 5 little nephews. I love playing sports, including volleyball and basketball. I also love bike rides. I just finished my freshman year at Brigham Young University up in Provo and I am about to report to the MTC to serve an 18 month mission for the Church in Korea Busan.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in the Church by a strong LDS family so I have always believed in it. But it was not until my Junior year in High School that I received my own personal testimony of the Church. During my Junior year, i decided to read the Book of Mormon myself in order to gain a testimony of it. I read it cover to cover that year and I learned so much from the experience, not only about the Book of Mormon, but also about myself. When I finished reading the Book of Mormon, I decided to accept the challenge in Moroni 10:3-5 and I prayed to know for a surety if it was true. While I was praying, I received a very strong answer that confirmed to me that the Book of Mormon was true. From this experience, I now know for myself that this is the only true church on the earth today, that Jesus Christ is my Savior, and that everything contained in the Book of Mormon is true. I am now preparing to serve a mission for the Church in Korea Busan, where I will share this wonderful message with all that I can.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday as I strive to be more like Christ. I recently attended BYU, where I was the 1st counselor in the Relief Society Presidency, who helped lead a group of women our age who were also attending BYU. As I have gained a testimony of my own, I have felt prompted to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Because of my faith and knowledge of Christ, I want to spread the truth to others and help them to become as happy as I have become through this Gospel.
