Hi I'm Michael Joseph Walker

Currently living in Cedar City, Utah. Returned from my mission in Mexico, Chihuahua.

About Me

I am a bit athletic and love to play sports. I also love to make movies and to stay in the outdoors. I have served on my local Seminary Council. I am training in the MTC and preaparing myself for my mission in Chihuahua, Mexico and I couldn't be anymore excited!!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church but was not that strong in it. My family had the chance to go on a church history tour and through the many sites the spirit bore witness to me of the church and Joseph Smith. My faith doubled and I became more active in the church. I was then lucky enough to serve on my school's seminary council and I saw how God helped me in my life and in the lives of others. I know this is the true church and that God has a living prophet on the earth today and that through his son Jesus Christ we can be forgiven of our mistakes and the atonement can make us white as snow.

How I live my faith

I participate in my church's young men's activities and our service projects. My dad and I go out and home teach members in our ward and make sure that they are taken care of. I served on my school's seminary council to help plan fun activities and better teaching and participation strategies. I served a religious mission for 2 years in Chihuahua, Mexico. I have been homeboy for a while and continue to serve in my local church services.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Michael Joseph Walker
It is not required. I served in one and I did it because I love the church and want people to gain the faith. It is a personal choice but his highly requested for all worthy young to serve. I have a best friend who never served and he is still an active member of the church. Show more Show less
