Hi I'm Daniel

I grew up in Southern California. I played water polo, now serving a Spanish speaking mission in northern Utah, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Southern California but both of my parents are from Argentina. I graduated high school with the class of 2013. During high school I played water polo and was on the swim team. I like playing other sports including soccer. I absolutely love the sport of soccer it fascinates me. I'm currently serving a Spanish speaking mission in northern Utah. When I return from my mission I plan on attending BYU to study and major in Mechanical Engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. However this does not mean that I always had my own testimony that this church is the true and restored gospel of Christ on the Earth. Throughout most of my life I just relied on my parent's telling me the church was true and I didn't really know for myself. I'm so glad that I followed my leaders' advice and I sincerely prayed and asked for a witness. A confirmation that this is His gospel. Many people have asked me that when I finally get to live on my own, independent from my parents, would I continue in this faith? Would I continue to attend church and abide by it's teachings? When so many people asked me this I was so glad that I can answer yes. However, the following question was always a surprise. Why? And the answer to that is this: I know for a certainty that this is God's restored gospel and church on the Earth. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet called by God just like Noah or Moses. I know that the prophet on the Earth today is Thomas S. Monson. And I know that the Book of Mormon is another Testament to Jesus Christ as is the Old and New Testament as far as they are translated correctly. I am a Mormon because this is the way God wants me to live. He blesses me so much and I know that He loves each and every one of us. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Right now I am currently serving a full time Spanish speaking mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This means that I have willfully given up 2 years of my life to serve the Lord. I invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. I basically answer questions people may have about the church as well as, if they would like, help others know how to grow closer to Jesus Christ and develop a close relationship with Him. I help others be able to access the blessings of His Atonement by helping them grow their faith which in turn, grows their relationship with Jesus Christ.
