Hi I'm Reese

Hello there! My name is Reese Alexander Suggs. I'm serving a mission in Billings Montana, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

So hello! I'm Reese Alexander Suggs. I'm living in Billings Montana, and i am serving a service mission. I've lived in several places in my life. California, South Carolina, Arizona, Texas, but i've lived the majority of my life in Montana. I went to high school here in MT, and graduated here as well. My high school years were not spent the way I wish they were. I've been diagnosed with severe depression. At its worst, i was in the hospital. My "severe depression" lasted for two and a half years. At it's worst, i was in the hospital. I've got a dark past. But i have a bright present. My dark days were lifted by the gospel, i have no doubt about it. I started to put my faith in Christ, and everything just got better. I cannot explain it, but i know from experience that this gospel can heal you. I know it. My worst of depression may not of lasted as long as others, but i know what its like. I know what its like to battle every day. But i also know what its like to win. And i have a testimony that through Christ, his Atonement, and just a little bit of hope, you can win. Anyways, i love to be busy, i love to play games, hang outside, or just chill with friends. But my all time favorite thing to do is sing. "For my soul delighteth in the song of the heart; yea, the song of the righteous is a prayer unto me, and it shall be answered with a blessing upon their heads." Famous words of Jesus Christ. I cant explain it, but singing is majestic. A little bit about me...

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because i choose to be. Being a Mormon is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. I cant say that I've been the happiest guy ever in existence, but i know that my happiness comes from being in this church. There is nothing that has made me feel any more happy. I was born into the church, but I've loved every second of this church. I love the feeling I recieve in the church, I love the family values, I love the standards set, and I especially love the people. There are several experiences that have happened in my life that me know of the truth in this church. But it all comes down to a choice, and you have to make it. Why am I a Mormon? Because I choose to be, and there is nothing that would make me change...

How I live my faith

How i live my faith? It's simple, just do it. One of my favorite songs is a song sung by the children of the church, and the first line it tells us is "I will go, I will do, the things the lord commands." I love this statement because it relates to me, and of coarse the Nike slogan "Just do it." I love it. I feel as if it's my duty to live this faith, and i will go and do. I am serving a mission right now and i'm loving it. The mission i will have for the next two years is a service mission. I will be working in the Billings Temple. Doing all the maintenance work for all the stuff around. I'm looking forward to that. I've been serving for some time now, and it's absolutely amazing. Meeting the new people. Seeing new families, and making new friends? That's what life is all about. But i have the opportunity to let others know about this church. And this next two years is already devoted to just that. Living my Faith. "And now as I said concerning faith—faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true." Alma 32:21. I know that i haven't seen what I'm working for, but I know its true. And i know my purpose as a missionary is not in vain. Living my faith is very important to me, and i haven't the slightest idea as to where i would be with out it. So how do i live my faith? I just do....
