Hi I'm Jennie

I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a mother to 7, grandmother to 14 and counting, I love life, learning, and doing. Give me a chance to travel and I'm there. Tell me it's ok to start harp lessons at age 51 and I'll do it. Give me a good book and it's read. A sewing project...I'll give it a good shot. A garden spot to tend...I love it! Hand me a baby I'll love 'em to pieces. Get me talking about Family History and I'll go on forever!

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? In 1840 my great-great-great grandmother joined the church in England, and left behind a great legacy for our family. But I can't survive on her testimony. I've had to study and work and figure it out for myself. My greatest joy comes in knowing I have a loving Heavenly Father. He knows me personally. He is aware of me. He wants me to be happy and return home to Him one day. I am a Mormon because the truths I've found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will make that possible...to return home to Him.

How I live my faith

Serving, doing, loving, laughing...these things show how I feel about myself, life, and the happiness the gospel brings me. I love to serving in my ward and stake, and hope to help others find peace and happiness and strength too. I love the scriptures. I love praying to a loving Heavenly Father.
