Hi I'm Tyler Hook

I grew up in McKinney, Texas. I love sports and attend BYU-Idaho. I am a missionary in the Nebraska Omaha Mission. I'm a Mormon

About Me

Throughout High School I was involved in yearbook, football, baseball. I graduated in 2012 and attend BYU-Idaho. I am from a family with a loving mom and dad and am the third of four children. I have three beautiful nieces and two awesome nephews all under the age of four. I can play the Ukulele and love to relax and have fun with others. After graduating High School, being a freshman in Idaho was a great experience for me and where I truly came to rely on my Father in Heaven more and take notice of him in my life. I love sports, I love family, and I love God.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the testimony I have gained over the years. I was born into the church but as I have grown older I have always stayed because I know that this is the true gospel on the earth today. I came to this knowledge from reading from the Book of Mormon and praying to know if it was true. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Christ and I have seen blessings come to me and my family from this book. Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God as well is Thomas S. Monson. They are men called of God. The only way you can know for yourself is for really wanting to know, having real intent, and asking our Father in Heaven about the Book of Mormon. If you believe that the Book of Mormon is the word of God as is the Bible, then all else falls into place as it did for me.

How I live my faith

In past years I have held callings in the church and have lived my faith through participation in the community. I am an Eagle Scout and continually help others with service projects throughout the community. I have been a visiting teacher for years, always helping and look for opportunities to serve and show my love for fellow members of my ward. I constantly live my faith everyday as I strive to grow closer to my savior Jesus Christ. I live my faith by trying to be the best I can be. I live my faith by loving my Savior, Jesus Christ.
