Hi I'm Rigel

I grew up in Highland, Utah, and am serving a Two-Year LDS Mission in Seattle Washington!

About Me

I have lived in Highland, UT my whole life. There are 6 kids in my family 3 boys 3 girls. I am also serving a mission in Seattle, Washington and am loving EVERY second of it!

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up I didn't have a testimony or really a desire to gain one, even though I grew up in a family that is strong in the church I didn't really have a desire to be apart of it. But during my junior year one of my best friends passed away due to a drug over dose. At that time in my life I was lost, confused, and most of all I wasn't happy. During this time I realized something about one of my really close friends, he was always so HAPPY! After a while of wondering why he was happy I realized that he was happy because of the gospel. After I realized that I decided to give the Book of Mormon a chance, and its all history from there. I instantly fell in love with it. I felt the spirit, I was starting to find hope in life again, and most importantly I felt the love of our Heavenly Father! After reading Nephi's psalm in 2nd Nephi I felt the need to start preparing for a mission! After talking to the Bishop[, and the Stake President I was worthy to receive my mission call. I have been called to serve in the Seattle Washington mission and have never been more excited! The Church Is True!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the commandments that our Savior Jesus Christ has set for us and sharing His Restored Gospel to everyone that I can!

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

You can receive many blessings! But the one that helped me the most was being able to realize the love my Heavenly Father has for me while I started to read! Show more Show less
