Hi I'm Jenna Jean

I grew up in SoCal always by the beach, I married my fav guy, I'm a new mom to my other fav little guy and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being creative and DIY anything! Pinterest is also one of my favorites! I have found so many cool ideas to be creative, save money, and of course waste a little too much time! I also love architecture and have studied it quite a bit in school! I have been married for almost 2 years and my husband and I have a 7 month old boy who amazes us everyday! Before I was pregnant I loved running and surfing! Running was my therapy and cure for depression. Before that, surfing was my escape! The ocean is so beautiful and to be a part of it is amazing! I've surfed with dolphins, "talked" to sea lions, watched hump back whales pass by, and surfed till the only light I had was the moon!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, although my mom was an inactive member of our church and my dad was not a member. They married and had their first child together. It was a sweet baby girl, but she was born with a bad heart and only lived one week. Their hearts were broken, and hope seem nonexistent. My dad realized that he didn't know where it was that his daughter went. He knew of heaven but didn't have the answers he was searching for. He finally let the missionaries from our church in, who he had previously denied. My dad told me that the missionaries were the only one's who could answer his questions about heaven and about what happens when we die. My parents then had a son and were later married in the temple, and not just till death, but forever. Because of this they knew that one day they would be able to see their sweet baby girl again. I came to realize that the only thank you that I could give to those missionaries was to pass the favor on. When I was 14 I knew I wanted to serve a mission for my church. I wanted to give back what was given to my family. I wanted to be there for that father who didn't know where his baby went.

How I live my faith

I have always tried to be my best self and I feel like living the gospel has helped me do that where nothing else could! I have found joy in serving the members in my congregation throughout my life! Don't get me wrong, it's never easy! I currently serve as a leader in the children's organization we call Primary. Since kids are constantly learning they can be a little wild sometimes, and so it is beautiful to see the light of Christ growing inside of them. I have learned a great deal, and have much more to learn, so I am certainly grateful for the opportunity.
