Hi I'm Kale Lopez

Born and raised in Utah. I do rugby, soccer, swim, track, cycling, and Polynesian dance. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to do sports. Rugby is my new found favorite sport. Being pacific islander I have much opportunity to share my culture with those around me. I enjoy music. Because of this love for music I am a self taught ukulele player. I've learned piano, saxophone, and vocal and I enjoy sharing these talents with others. I graduated high school in the top 3% of graduating seniors in Northern Utah. I enjoy learned and hope to continue schooling at Brigham Young University Hawaii. I am always up to try new things and love meeting new people. I Have been called to Madrid Spain and am reporting to the Missionary Training Center on July, 24 2013.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to remain a member because I have seen the wonders the church can do in my life. The happiness it brings. The unity within my family. I read my scriptures daily and I have seen the change it has brought in my life. Because I can feel this happiness and the peace that comes with the gospel I love to learn and live it.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday. I participate in all my classes and serve others in any way possible. Many times we get to serve those in our community as a church. These are some of my favorite times with members of my faith. I have been called to serve a 2 year mission in Madrid Spain and I am so excited to go.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Kale Lopez
Not at all. Most of the time our service goes to help anyone regardless of faith. There is no bias to our service. Mormon missionaries all over the world give up two years of their lives to serve those around them as well as the Lord. We learn that service is important in a scripture in the Book of Mormon. Mosiah 2:17 reads "...When ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God." Show more Show less
