Hi I'm Andrea

I'm happiest with my family, friends, and elephants. I'm studying to be a Speech Pathologist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a student. I plan to earn my Master's Degree in Speech Pathology and work in hospitals or clinics with children. I have been blessed with the most amazing family - a twin brother and four older siblings, as well as my wonderful parents. I am passionate about many things: rain, elephants, dancing, kitties, making music videos, puddle jumping, learning, and playing the flute - to name a few. I love life. I am very sentimental, but I laugh easily and often and I would not trade the life I have for anything in the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church all my life, but worked hard while growing up to gain a testimony for myself. I remember deciding one day that I wouldn't only believe because it was what I had always known, but I wanted to come to know for myself whether or not the church was true. I am a Mormon because I have studied and read for myself and I know it is the true church. When facing trials in my life, I have found comfort in the gospel, and learned again of the joy and peace that truth brings. Nothing has brought me greater joy in life than when I know I am doing what the Lord wants me to be doing. Following His example and being obedient to His will has helped me be more than I could ever be on my own. I am a Mormon because this gospel brings joy and happiness and love back into a world which seems to be forgetting those qualities. I am a Mormon because the greatest peace I have ever known has come from being obedient to the teachings and counsel found in this great church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith simply by loving and serving others to the best of my ability. I try to study scripture and pray each day, and I find joy in learning more about the gospel. I have recently been called to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Porto Alegre, Brazil! I am so excited to learn of the culture and language there. I can't wait to get to know the wonderful people in Brazil. There, I will love and serve as I teach of Christ and invite others to come unto Christ.
