Hi I'm Shadrach G.

I was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. I am currently in High School in Las Vegas Nevada. And I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love music. I play the piano, String Bass, Bass Guitar, and Cello. I play the bass in my school orchestra I love to sing (even though I'm not great at it). I sing in the car, I sing in the shower, you name it. I have three siblings (two brothers one sister) and two loving parents. I love to just spend time with my family, weather it be eating dinner and talking to each other, or just watching a movie together.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon simply because this is what brings the most joy to my life. Being a part of this Gospel makes me feel wonderful, useful and loved. I gain new friendships and meet so many new people. Most importantly I come to know of the Savior Jesus Christ, and God our Father. I come to know his plan for us. And his unceasing love for us. I say unceasing because he will always love each and everyone of us no matter the choices we make. But he will always be the happiest when we make good decisions. One of the most important good decisions I have made is to join this Church. When I read the scriptures or listen to a talk given from one of the Church leaders, I can feel God's love. I know he is proud of me for being a part of his Church and he is proud of me for wanting to get to know him through his Church. I know that his Church is what helps me to make good choices, and when I make a mistake he will always forgive me. That is why I love The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Because I feel love, from everyone and everywhere.

How I live my faith

Being an active part of the Mormon faith is very important to me. I currently help organize fun activities for the youth every tuesday. We usually try to incorporate a good message in with it. I also once a month or sometimes when needed, I have to two families that I visit with my dad. We tend to their needs and help them with anything we possibly can. I have really learned to love the two families I visit as if they were a part of my own family. This is very important to me because as I serve them I get to know them better and love them more.
