Hi I'm Kallee Asay

I'm Kallee Asay, I am the only girl out of 5 children. I play the piano and the flute. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am currently a Senior in high school. When I graduate I plan to go to college, probably BYU Idaho to get my associates degree as a Vet Tech. Although I currently live in Richland, Washington, my hometown is Cedar City, Utah. My family has moved many times, but that is my home. When I lived in Cedar, I took part in several plays, playing my flute, in the Shakespearean festival. I really enjoyed my time playing in the high school band and pep band.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up as a member of the LDS church my whole life. While I was young, I relied on my parents testimonys, but as I've gotten older I feel that I have really gained one of my own. Along with gaining my testimony, I have gained a real love for this faith and this church. I feel the way that LDS members live their lives is the way that everyone should live. We learn to serve at young ages and we learn to love and be kind to everyone. I feel that if everyone were to be that way, our world would be a lot better place. I feel that I have a true testimony of this church. I know that our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ love us and want all of us to return to live with them. I know that when we make mistakes, through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can repent and be fully forgiven for our sins. Not only do they want LDS members to return and be with them, but they want all people to be with them. They love everyone! I know that we have a living Prophet on the earth today. His name is Thomas S. Monson, and I know that he recieves true revelation.

How I live my faith

I am currently in my class presidency in the Young Womans program. I try to live my faith everyday, by being an example to all I encounter at school and work. I know that we all make mistakes, but I feel that we can overcome those and be better. I know that if we all love and support each other, we can all grow to be what we are destined to be.
