Hi I'm Kalin

I love to exercise. I love music (who doesn't?). I wouldn't trade my family for the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have sat on the very edge of a high cliff; put my feet in the Atlantic ocean, Pacific ocean, Mediterranean sea, and the Gulf of Mexico; and made friends with people from literally every continent. Even with those things, I have spent nearly all of my life in the United States, which is where I am also currently serving as a missionary. I wouldn't be half of the person I am without my friends, my parents, and my siblings. I thank my Heavenly Father for them every day.

Why I am a Mormon

You know how sometimes you get a gut feeling telling you that something is right? Yeah, I have had that feeling about this church countless times. My Heavenly Father has answered my prayers when I have prayed in the way I learned through the Mormon church, and I cannot deny the warmth and "this is right" feeling I have experienced as answers to those prayers. I have also read the Book of Mormon, and it really does testify of Christ and bring happiness. It is definitely one of those things to which I would say, "don't knock it til you've tried it." I am also so much happier when I live according to the principles taught by the Mormon church than when I am not as devoted to those principles.

How I live my faith

I am serving as a missionary for the church. I pray and read my scriptures daily (My days don't seem to go as well when I don't). Whenever I have a question, I make sure to go to the Lord to find the answer. He gives me thoughts and feelings to take routes way better than those I ever could have created on my own. I go to church, in part because sometimes people there can act as the Lord's hands to answer questions I have.
