Hi I'm Kyliesha

I grew up in southern Utah. I am a member of a State Champion drill team and I love dancing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Kyliesha Riggs. I am 17 years old. I am currently attending high school where I am involved with the drill team (dance team). I plan on going to college and serving an LDS mission. I hope to become an ultrasound technician. Some of my hobbies include; dancing, photography and my recently discovered talent of oil painting! I have an older sister and a younger brother and of course, two wonderful dogs, Kiani (my dog) and Shadow (my brother's).

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the Mormon church and I knew from the beginning that this is the only true church. I have had my times of doubt, and I can tell you right now...I NEVER want to go back to those times. I can't even explain how miserable I was. I could not find even a little sliver of hope, until I was sitting in Seminary (religious class) one day reading my scriptures in John chapter 14 verse 18; 'I will not leave you comfortless; I will come to you.' I felt the most comforting feeling I have ever experience in my life. And I knew in that moment that Our Savior, Jesus Christ, and Heavenly Father love us so much more than we could ever comprehend. They have given us guidance and have shown us the way to be able to return to live with Them. And that is through The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, the most perfect of all churches ever on the earth. I 'm a Mormon. I know it. I live it. I love it.

How I live my faith

I have always wanted to come up with a different way of sharing my faith and testimony of this gospel, and so I recently created a blog on which I share my testimony on various subjects and areas relating to the church. I try my best to be an example to those around me. I have discovered true happiness at the age of 17 and I want nothing more than to share that with the world and the people I know and love.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Serving a mission is completely optional! It isn't something people wish they didn't have to do...it is something they personally choose to do. Because THEY want to. Show more Show less
