Hi I'm Patsy

I grew up in Utah. I am a non-active Mormon but would like to gradually become more active as I start a family.

About Me

My name is Patsy. I am about to be married to my best friend, my companion, my other half. I was raised most of my life in Utah. I am a nanny of two children and one on the way. I love working with kids. I just hope to have children of my own one day to raise and love and call my own. I sale Usborne Books and More as a independent consultant. (I have a passion for books). Specially children's books. I collect anything from classic literature to just fun interesting books. I love to learn and be taught. I have learned that with children every day is a learning opportunity. I love to write. Not stories or anything of that sort but just lists, my thoughts, etc. It helps relax me and get my life together. I also am a homebody and love to be with my family. There is nothing more important in life besides family, faith, and friends, well and education. You can never have enough knowledge there is always something to learn.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon. A non-active Mormon but I do know somewhere inside of me there has to be a truth to this church OR it would not play an every day role into my life. I was baptized at the age of eleven with my dad. We never were full time active Mormons. Even though at one point I was going to the temple. This church is a beautiful church from its hymns to its people. There is a reason why people convert everyday and it is to me because of the family aspect. The church is not just a fun, loving community with service for others and gratitude to spare but a family. A family that is there for you always no matter what direction you have gone in your life. I have a testimony of the faith that brings the church together as a whole, as a family and that there really is no other religion that I would like call my own. I am Mormon through and through.

How I live my faith

I was also raised with two different religious backgrounds. My dad didn't claim a religion but always believed in God and his son Jesus Christ. My mother went on a mission to Chile and always has had a testimony. I struggle every day with my beliefs and wants when it comes to God and his son Jesus Christ but I do pray. I pray every day and more often then not I am bearing testimonies of them of the church with out really thinking about it. It is something I want to become more active in and more faithful in BUT I always come up with a BUT...

What is faith?

Patsy
Faith is knowing and believing in something you can not necessarily see. Its having hope. Its have a desire for something more. Its loving with out the physical connection. It is believing with your whole heart and nothing more. Show more Show less
