Hi I'm Brian Christensen

I grew up in Utah. I just finished a year of college. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to go diving down at the rec center. I find that it relaxes me and helps me to unwind when I'm stressed out. I love to play sports of any kind. anything to keep me active. I often go hiking and mountain biking when I can get away from home. I don't always do outdoorsy things often times I'll find a movie and just relax for a while. I'll often times play with my little brother and sister. I have found that we do some of the strangest things when we get together. all in all I just try to do my best to be nice to everyone I meet and have a good time while I'm at it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon. I choose to be a Mormon not because any one told me to I had to be, but rather because I want to be. I believe in the savior Jesus Christ and his eternal sacrifice that he made for each of us. I know for myself that this is the true church of god. I have read the book of Mormon multiple times and prayed to know if it is true or not. I felt the prompting of the spirit telling me that it is. I also know that family's are forever. to me that means that I will have the chance to meet my mother who passed way when I was a young child. I will see her again and I will live with my whole family again. I know this to be true. I love this gospel it has brought so much peace and love into my life. I can't think of a better way to live my life. I know it, I love it, and I live it. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

How I live my faith

right now I am preparing to serve a two year mission for the church. because of this I don't have a calling in my ward. I spend most of my time working so that I can pay for my mission. While working to pay for my mission is good I find that the most important things I do to prepare for my mission are the little things. I read The Book of Mormon every day. I pray when I get up in the morning and again before I go to bed. I keep myself morally clean as well as physically. while I don't have a calling in my ward I have been asked a few times to teach a lesson in the young men's Sunday school class. during the week I am given a subject that I am supposed to teach on. once I have the subject i find related scriptures to it. often time's I will go to the churches website and look up some things that the general authority's have said on my subject. after that I just put together a lesson with what i have found and give it on Sunday.
