Hi I'm Brandon

I was born and raised in Idaho. I do film and ballroom dance. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have two older brothers and two younger sisters (twins). I am right in the middle. Ever since I was young, my brothers and I made short family films for fun. Our movies were eventually put into film festivals. Some of the films received high awards. My Mom decided to put my brothers and I into ballroom dance when we were in elementary school. At first I hated dance, but over time I learned to appreciate the skills that can be learned from dance. I danced all throughout elementary, middle school, and high school. I am still dancing now that I am in college. Yep that's me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon. I have been taught all my life about the gospel of Jesus Christ and I know its true. Though, when I was younger, I did not 100% know if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was true. I always attended church, read my scriptures, etc. but I still was never quite sure. One summer, I participated in a religious education week. As I learned about the atonement and the plan of salvation, I grew a ton. Never before had this happened. I began to see the importance of "feasting upon the words of Christ." I felt so much peace from understanding the fundamentals of the gospel. The spirit taught me so much those few short days. I knew the church was true 100% after this experience. The Church is true. The gospel of Jesus Christ can help everyone. The Power of the Atonement has helped so many, including myself. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I go to church every week. I try my hardest to do what's right and live the principals my faith teaches. Sometimes it's hard but I found it's worth it. In the past, I've been able to help with many different service projects. I had the opportunity to volunteer at a mental health institution for one of my church callings. It was great to see that God cares for all his children even if you have disabilities.
