Hi I'm Timothy

I was born in California, then moved to Las Vegas. I am going on a mission to Merida Mexico. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a young adult. In high school, I ran cross country and was on the wrestling team. I also ran track. In my spare time I play softball, run, ride my bike, go swimming, and spend time with my friends and family. In the fall of 2012 I went to college in Utah and studied finance. Soon I will be headed on a mission to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to Merida Mexico.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because it gives me the peace and joy that I need in my life. It teaches of the importance of families and how they can be happy in this life and live together after life. This comforts me because I love my family very much. The gospel of Jesus Christ helps me overcome the challenges and the sins and the temptations in my life. I know that God is our Heavenly Father and that he loves us. I know that Jesus Christ died for each of us and that with his help, we can be forgiven and receive peace and joy. I know that He lives. He is our friend who can and will help us overcome every challenge we face. I believe that living righteously and keeping the commandments will make us happy and give us peace. This peace has brought a lot of happiness in my life and the life of my family. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I am a substitute primary teacher and a substitute young men's instructor. I love teaching and sharing what I know about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I teach the young primary children and men my age and older in two separate classes. In our classes we are able to teach and share our testimonies and experiences about the gospel. When I teach, I get the opportunity to direct these discussions. My callings are a blessing in my life and I love to have the opportunity to demonstrate that I live my faith.
