Hi I'm Joshua Stevens

I grew up in Kadena Japan, Bitburg Germany, Aviano Italy and the U.S. I love sports, high adventure, and computers. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a military brat and have lived all over the world and seen all walks of life. I have 3 sisters whom I love dearly. Both my parents are graduates of Brigham Young University and I will continue my studies there after my return from my mission. I love the outdoors especially hiking. I'm a soccer player and will play any chance I get.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I want to. I was born to LDS parents whose parents were LDS as well. I accepted what I was being taught as a small child without question, I didn't know what else to do at the time. A I became older, I did question some things. The amazing thing about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is that it encourages you to find your own testimony. You can use others' testimonies to base yours off of, but in the end yours will be unique to you. That is what I have done. I am a mormon because I have a testimony of the truth of the gospel, discovered through my own search and prayers.

How I live my faith

I uphold the standards that the church has set for me. I home teach regularly and try to encourage those around me to continue theirs as well. I struggle at times but those around me help out and I try to return the favor. I try to share the gospel as much as I can. I try to find those who are searching for answers and share the knowledge and faith that I have with them. I'm still young and most my experience is from high school, and high school is full of people asking questions about almost everything. Many do not have a foundation in a religion yet and are still searching. I have tried my best to find those who are search and give them somewhere to go.
