Hi I'm Cami

I am a mother of 3. I am a marathon runner. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, and a mom. I love my family. I am also a college graduate, with a degree in civil engineering. For fun, I do crazy things like run 26.2 miles. I enjoy playing, cleaning, reading, teaching, and pretty much everything there is about being mom. And at the end of the day, I love relaxing with my husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I am one of 2 children in a broken home. I have experienced what it is like to feel lost and alone with one parent missing from parts of my childhood, teen, and young adult hood story. I have experienced deep sorrow and pain. I was also a member of the church, though perhaps a less active member. It was after my parents were divorced that I found peace at church. I understand the healing power of the Atonement, and that I can decide to let go of my hurt feelings and let Him bring me peace. Now, I am married in the temple, with an eternal family. I feel at home at the temple in a way that can't be explained. I know my husband and I will have trials, but I also know that we can always work through them as long as we are both striving to live the Commandments and have the common goal of Eternal Life. How wonderful is it to know that I have a Heavenly Father that loves me. I am not alone.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service. Our Savior was the perfect example of how to live, and it's my observation that He served, selflessly, throughout His entire life. I love helping my neighbors and my community. It's through losing our self in service that we find ourselves.
