Hi I'm Ray Hansen

I recently retired and my wife and I have been called to serve as Public Affairs Specialists in Uganda.

About Me

I am a retired father and have been married for 43 years. We have three children who are all married with professional careers. I have 7 grandchildren, four girls and 3 boys ranging in age from 7 to 14. With exception of our youngest daughter, we all live in the same city and enjoy each other. All the adults have college degrees and love learning. I have been in medical sales most of my career and have traveled around the world working in hospitals primarialy in the OR and ICU. I have always been active and am an avid swimmer, runner, cyclist and down hill skier.

Why I am a Mormon

There comes a time in each of our lives when we decide if the gospel of Jesus Christ is going to be important in our lives or not. This testimony of the Savior came to me early in my missionary service at the age of 19 in Sydney, Australia. I always believed my parents but after reading both the Bible and the Book of Mormon, I asked Heavenly Father if what I had read was true and if I have been converted ever since.

How I live my faith

I have always been active in my faith and have been an active member in my local comunity. I have been a leader of both adults and youth and enjoy teaching families in the area about the Savior and his teachings and how to follow Him. I have tried to be an example of the Savior and share my testimony with others.
