Hi I'm Emma

I 'm a Coloradan through and through, a runner and a music lover. I'm a sister, daughter, and proud aunt. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

One thing I love to do is run and last year I ran my first marathon.I also enjoy playing tennis, hiking, and camping. Some of my other hobbies include playing the piano, violin, ukulele, and singing. I just finished up my first year of college and am thinking about majoring in either Nursing or Dietetics.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in my heart that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's restored church on the earth today. Living my faith makes me so happy and I can't imagine where I would be with out it. Being a member of this church has improved every aspect of my life and the more I see the world as I grow up the more thankful I am for what I know to be true. Knowledge that Jesus Christ is my Savior, and that through Him and His Atonement I can return to live with my Heavenly Father again someday brings peace that I don't want to live without.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by participating in service opportunities in the community. One such opportunity I recently had was to play music with a group of students for elderly people in a rehabilitation center about once a week. Things like this help me as I try to follow Christ's example of service. I am also serving as a full time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter'day Saints for a year and a half in Peru where I can teach others about what I believe. While on that mission, I hope to be able to help others come unto Christ and find happiness.
