Hi I'm Sam Watt

I love cars, I'm a Joiner, I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have always been a fan of cars, the faster the better! As I have grown I have learned to appreciate cleaning them as much as driving them i actually find it quite therapeutic. I love to travel the world, I find it exciting seeing how different the world is and how cultures vary. I am married and studied as a joiner/ carpenter, now I am a director in my families Joinery business where we make pretty much anything out of wood, I find it very satisfying looking at the finished result after each job.

Why I am a Mormon

I think there comes a time in everyone's life where you are left with unanswered questions, wether it be a death in the family, a disaster in the world or even just the feeling of being utterly alone. I found that during my times of questioning I am most strengthened. I have received an answer from the spirit that Heavenly Father is real, as is Jesus Christ and that I am a literal child of God. It is this understanding that keeps me faithful, life is still hard, bad things still happen, but I know where I can find an extra source of peace and help when faced with trials. This knowledge brings me great joy and happiness and that is the reason why I have chosen to be and stay a 'Mormon', but more importantly a follower of Christ.

How I live my faith

At the moment I am currently serving as the Young men's president in Chorley, I love working with the youth, they are very inspiring to watch as the grow and develop in their faith, they are truly an example to us all. I organise and help the youth to find a safe haven during the week, by coming to church and participating in themed activities designed to inspire and motivate them to gain their own beliefs and to follow Christ.
