Hi I'm Tom Quinto

I love rock music, I love eating, I'm a fan of nature, I'm a poophead, a Filipino, a missionary and I'm a Mormon...

About Me

I'm a missionary in the Philippines Legazpi Mission. I'm 18 years old. I'm from Antipolo, Rizal. Second eldest on a family of 4 children. My older sister, Sister Quinto, is currently serving in the Australia Brisbane Mission. I love burgers, pasta, pizza and POTATOES!! I love music but I have mediocre musical talents, however, I would love to learn and discover my talents in music (I faithfully believe I have some) and I will improve on them (probably when I get home after my mission). I used to love computer and video games but I realized they are not worth the time. I changed my way of living before I went on a mission and I would never want to go back to that kind of life after. I would want to spend my life in the gospel of Jesus Christ and discover other talents and do other physical and worthwhile activities and interests. I am a great fan of and appreciate and enjoy the beauty of our Heavenly Father's creations. I love nature and animals. I want to be a biologist someday and I want to explore and learn the Lord's creations.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in a mormon family. My parents are both converts of the Church and they have raised me all my life in the gospel of Jesus Christ which is centered in his atonement and as well as families. My family was never a less active family but I admit that I was once less active in the gospel. I never cared about the teachings, I just went to Church because I have to; I went to youth activities because my mom would not let me hang out with my high school friends if I did not. I forgot about who I was and wasted my time on computers and video games. I met awesome people in the Church that helped me remember what I am and what I'm supposed to be. I got rid of my old habits and now I devote all of my time in the service of the Lord and my fellow people. After my mission I would strive to have a wonderful family established upon the rock of the teachings of the Church which is The gospel and doctrines of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading the Book of Mormon daily and serving my fellow people. I am currently serving a full-time mission and I love doing it!! I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I will never deny it nor forget it. I live my faith by following the example and commandments that Jesus Christ has set for us.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Tom Quinto
We believe that God still calls prophets to reveal His secrets and to guide us in amidst the trouble, confusion, affliction and temptations all over the world. They teach us the words of Christ and help us understand and live the gospel. I know that President Thomas S. Monson, the current living prophet, is called of God and that He is able to communicate with Him to know His will for the Church and its people and as well as the whole world. Show more Show less
