Hi I'm Kevin Bodily

I am from Logan, Utah. I am serving in the Georgia Macon Miracles Mission. I love Audi's, the South, lacrosse and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have 3 siblings, 2 older, 1 younger and now 1 nephew, and I am the forgotten one and i don't mind at all! I played goalie in lacrosse for my high school and considered playing colligiate before my mission. I also was a signature away from being in the Army before I chose to serve my mission. I love to play golf in my free time, i also enjoy to work outdoors. I love the hard work, but i also enjoy the pace of a fast car in life. Nothing much better than getting mud all over an Audi and then cleaning it up real good, then doing it all over again! I am serving my mission in Georgia and i have fallen more in love with the country and the Southern people. My dream would be to own a farm house and own land and just play around on it till i grow old and go all the way of the earth.

Why I am a Mormon

Life in Northern Utah is what you would expect. A lot of Mormons. But I am so grateful for the friends that I have that have always reminded me of who I am. I have had a lot of times in my life where I know i could have done better, be it sports, schooling, church, or life in general. I did the rotation of go to church, go to seminary, smile. But i always knew that i could do better. I was, and still am a quiet person when it comes to my emotions, but i cannot deny the testimony that i have grown. The Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Priesthood Authority have played such an important role in my life. I have made choices, both positive and negative to make me who i am today, and that is where the gospel comes in for me. It allows me to do better each and everyday. To make changes, both small and large, to become the person I need to be.

How I live my faith

The best way to live any faith is to show it by your works, and that is what I am doing! Being a missionary in the South is definitely a challenge, but continuing to have that faith and holding to the knowledge i have received through the Holy Spirit, helps me to bring others closer to Jesus Christ, and thus by doing that, i strengthen my faith day by day. My faith leads me to act, and acting brings the Spirit into my life more fully. Of course, there is so much room for my faith to grow, and i suppose that is why i continue to serve my mission, to help me grow personally.
