Hi I'm Nia

What can I say.... I'm Mormon!

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah, My father is from Va'vau, Tonga and my mother from Pleasant Grove, Utah. I was baptized at the age of 9 when the missionaries taught myself and my family. Shortly after I was baptized my brothers followed. I went to timpview highschool and am currently at UVU. I grew up in the gospel and have experienced beautiful miracles in my life. Despite trials and tribulations, I am a witness to the great love the Lord has provided for me and for my family.

Why I am a Mormon

Why did I choose to be Mormon? One simple word... Love. The Lord displays his love through the atonement of Christ. Despite my imperfections and my faults in life, I'm allowed a chance to come back through repentance and the love of Christ. I can't imagine my life without it. My conversion was simple, nothing big, but the impact that the Gospel has had on my life has made my life that much more clearer to understand. I know that Jesus Christ had sacrificed himself for the will of man. In order for us to come back to the presence of our Lord, Jesus Christ had played as the advocate for us all. He is the reason we are able to feel peace because he has suffered everything we have. He is the one who understands our transgressions, our hurt, our sorrow. I am so thankful for his sacrifice and his love to fulfill what was needed to save all. Because he understood the importance of our worth, he willingly volunteered to be an aid and Savior for us all. God loves us so much, that he sent his only begotten son. Despite my faults, and my sins, I know that there is always a back to him that loves me. God lives and so does his son. I know that because of the Atonement of Christ we are all able to feel peace. This my friends is why I choose to be Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in the way I treat others. By walking the paths that the Savior himself shared for us all to walk. I participate in my visiting teaching by visiting sisters each month. I tend to try my best everyday despite my imperfections and mistakes in life. I tend to do my best in making sure that those around me are loved because I imagine that's how the Lord would want it.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

The Savior provides the example and pathway we need to return back to our Heavenly Father. Because we are imperfect we are able to repent of the things we have done wrong and are able to be forgiven and cleansed through the healing power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
