Hi I'm Michael

I'm a college student. I'm a drummer. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been through a bit of social change throughout my life. I've lived in 6 different states including one move in the lovely years of high school! What is great is that you are always able to find good people no matter where you go in the world. My main hobby is drumming. I love it! I was on the drum line for all of high school and now one year of college. I love spending my free time drumming. I also love to play sports. I played a little soccer in high school and a lot of recreational sports throughout my life. I really enjoy spending time with friends and family to just be with those people I've grown close to. I am currently serving a mission in Mexico for 2 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because this Church brings joy and truth. I love the knowledge that comes with living this Gospel that God has a plan for each of His children and wants us to come back to live with Him again. He loves us. I have found that He is watching over us and is always there for us. We each have a purpose in this life and this Gospel has helped me know that and find out more what it is I need to do on Earth. I have learned at a young age how happy the Gospel makes me and my family. I have felt the peace of God's forgiveness in my life and I am better able to rely on Him through struggling times in my life. I know that Jesus Christ suffered each of our pains and sorrows. This blessing allows us to know that we are not alone in our struggles and trials in life. This Gospel has brought me so much joy and has changed my life for the better!

How I live my faith

In the past, I've helped organize youth activities and trips. There have been quite a few service projects that I've had my hand in. Both organizing and carrying out the projects. I have participated in music groups that give me a chance to voice my faith. I have enjoyed my callings in which I am able to help uplift others and perform service for them. Hometeaching every month really helped me gain personal relationships with people in the ward. I am excited that I get to share my beliefs with others on my mission!
