Hi I'm Lucy

I'm a Brit, a student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Lucy and I live in England with my mum, my stepdad and my dog but I also have a stepbrother, and my dad and his wife live in Spain. I'm very close with my family and love spending time with them, and my friends. I study Philosophy and Psychology at university so lots of people think I just spend my time thinking and reading people's minds but sadly that's not the case! I do love my course though and find it really interesting. I love baking (and eating....), drawing, music, ice skating, reading and I'm a bit of a Tudor geek. I was baptised into the church when I was 8 but I've been going to church since my mum joined when I was 2.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love the gospel and my saviour Jesus Christ. I truly believe that the happiness being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints brings can't be beaten by anything and is worth the small sacrifices I make to live within its teachings. I love the peace I feel when I worship my Saviour and the fun and friendship I experience within the church.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday I go to church to worship my Saviour and learn more and for four years from when I was 14 to 18 I went to early morning scripture study which was hard but worth it! I enjoyed learning more about the scriptures and continue to read every day. I'm part of a committee that organises activities for the women in my ward and part of my responsibility at church is to represent myself and the other young adults and make our voices heard! I try to live my faith by being an example of what I believe to those around me and sharing my beliefs with those who want to learn more.
