Hi I'm Aaron

I live in Idaho. I am a professional cello player and I love learning languages. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was baptized 8 years ago, and it was the best decision I have ever made! The second best decision I ever made was to be sealed to my wife almost a year ago in the San Diego Temple! I love visiting temples around the world and performing work for the deceased! I also love to play the cello- it has been such a blessing in my life and the lives of many that I know!

Why I am a Mormon

I have found that by praying and reading the scriptures every day, as well as going to the temple- ideally once a week- my life is happier, I have greater strength to make good choices, and I feel God's love. I don't think I could thank Heavenly Father enough for the gospel in my life!

How I live my faith

I love anything that involves music! I can think of numerous instances in recent years when I felt our Heavenly Father's love through the words and music of our church hymns.

Why do some call Mormonism a cult?

I suppose that a religion that is not even two hundred years old yet but now has 15 million members across the world is very different in the eyes of, well, everyone, both in terms of how young it is and the rapid growth. To me that is a further testimony that this is the true church- God's hand is very much involved in his work to "bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man." On a personal level, to me this means that every man, woman, and child has the opportunity to have a happier family, and be happier than they thought possible through righteous living.
