Hi I'm Brayden

Sometimes, I do stuff.. not all the time, but sometimes

About Me

First thing, I bleed blue; I'm a New York Rangers fan. I'm not really quite sure where I'm from. I was born in Panama, and I moved back when I was fourteen. I love the beach, and because I lived so close to it, I would go surfing every chance I got. I love to play guitar, and I listen to awesome music. I like doing cool stuff like back flips, and cutting down trees with one hit of an ax. But i can't do either of those, so I just surf and skate instead. Also, there is never, ever a bad time for a hamburger.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in the church, but I have had to find out for myself if it is really true. My parents had taught me the basic truths of the gospel, I had to decide if i really believed them. I have had to read the scriptures, pray, and listen to the promptings of the Spirit to learn the truth for myself. It is not an easy or quick process, it takes time and dedication, but I have learned for myself that this gospel is true. I have, and continue to develop faith in Christ as I really search the scriptures and words of modern day prophets.

How I live my faith

I believe that faith in Christ is something that needs to be developed and taken care of in order to live a happy life. I study the teachings of Christ and do my best to live by them. I am serving as a full time missionary, and my purpose is to help others understand more about Christ, and His role as our Savior. I have found that daily scripture study is something that builds my faith, and helps me understand the role of the Lord in my life.

What is being a Mormon like?

Brayden
Wonderful, I know I always have something to fall back on when I am going through a rough patch. I have people I can always go to that will help me out that can give loving advice; when I don't have the option the option to talk to someone, I can always find comfort in the scriptures, and prayer.
