Hi I'm Josh

I was born and raised in South Jordan, Utah. I am about to start my journey of adulthood. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in a very loving and supportive family. I have always done well in school and have had a drive to succeed in life. I love playing soccer and just being in the outdoors. I love to spend time with my family and friends and just be able to goof around. I love joking around with people and just having fun! I am very involved with special needs kids and plan to do something affiliated with those with special needs as a profession. I spent two weeks in Chamba, India where I helped teach orphans conversational English. I am going on an LDS Mission to the country of Liberia.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon simply for one reason- the church makes me happy. I have always been a member of this church, but I have no always been a member of this church. As I have been raised by my wonderful parents, I have thrived off of their testimonies instead of developing one of my own. However that all changed when I went on a humanitarian expedition to India where I taught orphans conversational English. I saw the light in these beautiful kids eyes and the Spirit of Christ that dwelled within them. They probably had no clue who Christ was, yet they exemplified him better than anyone I had ever met. After that wonderful expedition I fully became involved in the work of the Church. I started to read the Book of Mormon consistently and pray with real intent, constantly asking what I could be doing better. And the Lord was there with me the entire time, guiding me in the right paths. Sure, I haven't been perfect and I have screwed up. But Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ, have helped me get back on the right path every single time. And when I am on that path doing the right thing- I am happy. I am going on an LDS mission to the country of Liberia. I am going there so that the people of Liberia can experience the happiness that I have felt and become closer to our Father in Heaven. I love this church and I would not give it up for anything in the world. I know that this church is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and restored Christ's church on the earth today. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God today and that he leads and guides this church through direct inspiration from Heaven. I know that my family loves me and that I can have the opportunity to spend eternity with them. I know this church is true, and I am so excited to spread that knowledge to people who are earnestly searching for the truth.

How I live my faith

I grew up belonging to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My parents, grandparent, and great grandparents have all been members of the church. So the church has always been a very important part of my life. If effects basically every aspect of my life, especially in the way that I act. As a member of the LDS faith, I try to always live up to my potential and be as Christ-like as possible. However that doesn't always happen! But I know that if I always have faith in Christ, that things are going to turn out just right. Being a member of the church, to me, isn't just something I do on Sundays. It is something that I try to do every day of every week. My faith is the ultimate factor in how I choose to live my life.
