Hi I'm Kayla Hoover

I grew up in a beautiful mountain valley. I have five sisters and six brothers totaling twelve kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the 11th child of 12 kids and love being one of the youngest! As I've grown up the majority of my time has been spent doing activities outside with my family. I love swimming, riding motorcycles, horses, bikes, rock climbing, hiking and just about any other activity there is to do out side. I also love music! I play the piano, violin, mandolin, and just about all percussion instruments. My favorite place to go on vacation is to Lake Powell because my family is there and you are completely away from the world. One of my favorite memories is cutting down old trees for firewood! I go to college studying Civil Engineering. I love being able to meet new people and gaining new friendships!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love being able to know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me more that I can imagine and who is always there waiting and wanting to help me. I love knowing that even when I make mistakes that I can use the atonement of Jesus Christ to repent and become clean and back on the path to live with Him again. I love being able to receive my own personal revelation though the power of the Holy Ghost to know of the things that Heavenly Father wants me and needs me to do. I loving having a true prophet of God who lives and directs Christ's church though direct communication with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I love the blessing of getting to live with and be with my family not only for this life but for ALL eternity! I love being able to read the Book of Mormon and can understand the teachings of the prophets more and more each time I read it. I love the simple teachings of loving and serving others. I love the freedom it gives me to live and love life and the many amazing things it has to offer.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always doing my best to fulfill my church callings and trying to make people feel welcome. I love being able to help with some of the actives in the ward I'm in because that way I am able to be there early and welcome people as thy came! I love doing service and think that it is super fun when a group of people all work together to accomplish a goal!
