Hi I'm Brennan

I'm a Missionary. I'm from Michigan and love all things outdoors. I'm a motorcycle and car nut. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Michigan! I made the decision when I was young that I would serve a full time mission. As for the next two years, I will be serving that mission in the California Irvine mission, Orange County California. I am extremely excited for this period of life and welcome all the opportunities and challenges with open arms. Making a mission as a priority even as a youth has helped me prepare to serve faithfully for my Heavenly Father. My family is an incredible support to me and I love them. I am grateful for the efforts they have made to help me improve myself so that I may be the best missionary I can be.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed to have been born into a family where both my father and mother are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and I too am a member. I could see, even from an early age, the blessings that come from belonging to this church. My parents pointed me in the right direction and showed me what they believed, but ultimately I have gained the knowledge and testimony of the truthfulness of this church through study and prayer. I love this gospel. Having a knowledge and understanding of the fullness of Jesus Christ's church in these latter days is imperative to understanding what is in store for us after this life, and knowing that brings me incredible happiness! No one can know of true joy and happiness if they do not accept the teachings of Christ as doctrine and believe in their Heavenly Father with all their might, mind, and strength. There are many ways to be happy in this world, but to obtain all of the happiness that our Heavenly Father intends for us, we must follow the example that Jesus Christ provided. I have come to know that this gospel is true. I have seen the blessings that come from faithfull obedience to God's laws. I have also felt my Heavenly Father's love for me when I need forgiveness for the transgressions that I have made. My gratitude for the Atonement and Jesus Christ far outreaches any gratitude I could have for any other being. I love this gospel, and I love Jesus Christ, and I love my Heavenly Father. I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Currently I am serving a full time mission in the California Irvine mission! I cannot think of a better way to live your faith than to entirely dedicate every aspect of my life to serving my Heavenly Father and His children. Although I have only recently become a full time missionary, I know that I have always participated in missionary work as I invited my friends and family to share in this wonderful gospel. The doctrines and principles that we as Latter Day Saints believe in are applicable to every aspect of life. This life is for us to learn about ourselves and the world around us, and our Heavenly Father rejoices when we choose righteously and see the rewards of our efforts to live His gospel. I know that this is the true church upon this earth in these latter days, and I have made promises to my Heavenly Father that I will faithfully endure to the end in following the commandments and His son Jesus Christ's example for me. In doing so, I know that I will be able to return to live with my Heavenly Father, with my family, for eternity. I am so excited to share this message with all those who will receive it, and I will continue to do so with all my heart!

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

As a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I know that the message we have to share is great. It is not only great because it brings happiness, but also great in its magnitude. The doctrines we teach are of Jesus Christ. We profess of his mortal ministry as well as things such as the Plan of Salvation. Knowing the truth in these latter days is extremely important in order to be happy both in this life and in the next. Therefore, we proselyte. Proselyting is not a way of just getting as many Books of Mormon handed out or bothering people about religion. We genuinely care about those we teach, and our Heavenly Father leads us to those that are in need of his message. As missionaries, we are so excited to share the truth with everyone. Because we are so excited, we have to go out and find those who are seeking! I love this gospel and I know that when we are proactive and do our best to teach all that we can, the Lord blesses us and showers us with blessings. Show more Show less
