Hi I'm Lexi

I'm an excellent nap taker. I'm an artist. I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Southern Utah. I enjoy spending my life with my family. I have always loved art, traveling and taking 100 hour naps. I'm the youngest in my family and the favorite in my family. (Am I allowed to say that in public?) I decided as a senior in high school that I would continue studying art in college. After studying for two years at Southern Utah University, I received an answer to my prayers that I should serve a mission (miracles are out there SCCM!) Putting my studies, and naps on hold, I am now serving in the up state of South Carolina!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a very active family in the church so it has always been a natural thing to attend all church meetings. Since I can remember I've always had faith, believing that this was the true church, and that my Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are real. I was very consistent at going through the motions. I prayed, read my scriptures, went to church, and fulfilled my callings. It wasn't until my senior year of high school that I actually prayed to my Heavenly Father to find out if the Book of Mormon was real, because I always just felt like it was. I received my answer that the book is true and that this is the true church, but I wasn't converted. I still only continued to go through the motions. When I went to college I felt like I was completely alone and empty. It was that empty feeling that made me take action and find out for myself if the Lord knows me. I came to realize one day the reality that my Savior DOES know me. He is the only person that perfectly understands the feelings I feel. Through time, I've started understanding the depth of His love for me because of the small and large blessings I receive daily. I know now, that Heavenly Father loves me so much that He sent His Son. I know that through daily repentance I can become more like my Savior. Having this knowledge is what brings me deep, real, happiness every single day.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church, church activities, serving a full time mission for the Lord and striving to strengthen my relationship with Heavenly Father every day!
