Hi I'm Cody Shepherd

Returned Missionary, College Student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play rugby, soccer, and wrestle. I love reading and writing. I am adopted, although I've lived with my biological mom all my life. My dad never was a step dad to me, he's always been my real dad. I just recently finished my Mission in the Philippines Naga Mission in August 2015, and have been home since. I'm currently enrolled as a student at UVU and am waiting to see what the Lord has in store for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, which means that my family was involved in the Gospel of Christ before I was born. I've continued in this religion because I know that it's the right thing to do. I've had numerous spiritual experiences with my friends, with my church, and with my family. I've come to realize that from the time that I've spent in the service of the Lord Jesus Christ, that our Joy will be great in the bringing of souls unto Christ, that they through Him, might receive Eternal Life if they will but follow the Plan that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ present to us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church, reading my scriptures everyday, and making sure to not forget my prayers morning and night. I also make it a habit to go Institute on the days that I have it. I reach out to those of my friends that might be struggling with something or others and try to help them in any way that I can.

Who was Joseph Smith?

Cody Shepherd
Joseph Smith was our Prophet back in the early 1800's. He helped to restore the Gospel of Jesus Christ back onto the earth. He helped to translate the Book of Mormon with the help of others and by the will of God. Show more Show less
