Hi I'm Thato Jay Sibyeng

I grew up South Africa, I am a Baker, I served as a missonary in the UK and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born and raised in South Africa. I was taught to believe in God at an early age. I have not always sticked to what i was taught to believe especially in my teenage years lived life as each day came. I am Missionary for the Church in the UK. I love serving others, cooking/baking, "eating", singing/music, reading... if not found in the Kitchen I'm to be found outdoors kicking Ball, Hiking, Camping, Cycling... you name it, if it's outdoors, safe and fun count me in. I am one six children, a Big brother to two boys, I am Missionary, I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I came in contact with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 2009. I remember the day clearly, it was on a Surtarday afternoon, I saw two missionaries walking on the street and I asked them if I could come visit the Church on Sunday they said yes obivously, I told them i was serching for a Church to be baptised into. I have been serching for about 3 months at the time, going from one Church to another. My search had began early in the Year as I wanted and longed to improve my relationship with my siblings and parents. I met a young lady at new school i had moved to that year, she had good morals and was well behaved, we became friends. I learned early that she was a christian and that is why she was well behaved. Seeing that she was mostly at peace and wanting that for myself, I began a study of the Bible on my own... I recieved a witness then that Jesus is the Christ through the power of the Holy Ghost, so i devoted myself to sharing the Word of God with others. Until I met a young Man who was a baptist, He Challenged me to be Baptised at a Church of my Choice beacause Baptism is essential. So I began a search looking for a Church which God would have me unite myself with... I am Mormon simply beacause my prayers where answered by The Power of The Holy Ghost... My Heart and Life was filled with the Joy and happiness which I saw in my friend... I received an understanding about Heavenly Fathers Plan for us His children. The Actual reality that God is the God of all nations and he gives his words to everyone freely played a key Role in my Conversion to The Gospel Of Jesus Christ. I share this with YOU in The name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by bringing smiles to everyone I meet, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them. I am currently a missionary in The England Birmingham Mission. Serving the People In England has taught me a lot especially about Christlike love and service. Before leaving home for my mission I served in the youth program of the Church... working with young men from different backgroungs and lifestyle helped me learn a lot about the Love heavenly Father has for each of his children regardless of race, life style or background. This knowledge has motivated me to serve a mission, treat everyone I come across with respect and dignity. My faith has taught me a lot and shaped the way I live my life, I strive for peace, love, happiness and to live in harmony with the teachings of Christ found in the Book of Mormon, the Holy Bible, the Doctrine and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price. I find Joy in my faith when I share with others what I believe and treasure.
