Hi I'm Kaitlin

I’m a college student. I love to travel and learn. I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in many places. I love to travel and have been all over the world. I aim one day to become a neuropsychologist. I enjoy reading, writing, sketching, and oil painting. I believe that an active mind and a sanguine heart are the key to happiness, and that finding the beauty in life is about the choices you make for yourself.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this church and its teachings have never led me wrong, and through following the principles of the gospel I have learned for myself of their truth and the power they can bring to our lives. I have learned that even when our faith is wavering or we feel less than perfect, that our Heavenly Father will always be there to help and comfort us when we seek Him out. I have learned that when I am actively trying to live my life in accordance with my faith, everything seems brighter: worries are less troubling, challenges are easier to bear, and life is more meaningful.

How I live my faith

After much consideration and prayer, I have decided to put my education on hold and go on a mission for my church. I have been called to serve in the beautiful Dominican Republic and to share the gospel in the Spanish language. I know that the next year and a half are going to bring some of the most exciting, challenging, and rewarding experiences of my life. I look forward to every minute of it and know the Lord will help me through all the ups and downs. I know that this is what I am supposed to do, because when you find something that brings your life such joy, it is only right to want to share a piece of that joy with others.
