Hi I'm Danielle

I am a missionary. I am a dreamer. I wake up every morning excited for a new day. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a dreamer. When I grow up I am going to be a professional dancer, a Jr. high health teacher, a peach orchard owners wife, the lead singer in a band called The Beatless Band, a paramedic, a mother, the list never really ends. I've had people often remind me how ridiculous that all sounds....but that no longer stops me from trying! At a few points in my life I did stop trying as serious cases of depression hit, but I have come to find joy in being me. I know it sounds silly but I am my best friend, and because I am coming to love and respect myself, I can easily love and respect others. I enjoy singing and painting, there is nothing as magical as being a part of a beautiful harmony or having the possibilities of a new world at the tip of a brush. I love college and the opportunity it gives to discover the person you are and want to become. I know the pain of a broken heart, having been engaged at the age of 18, and the healing and peace that comes through turning to family. I love each day as it comes and try my best to do my best!

Why I am a Mormon

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I have too! My parents didn't make me, my teachers didn't force me, and not even God made that decision for me. I am a Mormon because that is an inseparable part of who I am. I am Mormon because I know that I have a Father in Heaven who loves me, I know that I have a big brother named Jesus who gave his life for me, I know that I can live with my family forever, and that true and everlasting happiness is found through following Christ. The blessing that God promises me as I follow him are such that my past, present, and future are centered on them. I am a Mormon because I love who I am as I proudly uphold the name of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am going on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! I get to spend a year and a half bringing the beautiful people of Peru to Christ. There are sacrifices I am making and trials ahead for me but they don't even compare to the importance of sharing my greatest joy with others.
